Acceptable Use Policy

This policy defines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Jabr platform.

1. Acceptable Uses

Jabr may be used exclusively for:

• Recording accurate and real financial data for your business
• Issuing invoices and preparing financial reports for your business
• Calculating tax and zakat filing values for your business
• Connecting external AI services to your books
• Collaborating with your team members, licensed CPAs, and auditors

2. Prohibited Uses

• Financial manipulation: Entering false or misleading data for tax evasion, fraud, or misleading regulatory authorities
• Money laundering: Using the platform to conceal or pass funds of illegal origin
• Terrorism financing: Any transactions linked to terrorism or banned organizations or entities
• Privacy violations: Uploading financial or personal data of third parties without their consent or legal basis
• Technical intrusion: Attempting to breach the platform, gain unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the source code
• Automated scraping: Using bots or automated tools to extract data or send excessive requests
• Reselling: Selling or renting access to the platform to third parties
• MCP connector abuse: Attempting to bypass safety controls, exceed permission boundaries, or send excessive requests through the connector
• Multiple accounts to evade limits: Creating multiple accounts to bypass free plan or subscription limits
• Credential sharing: Sharing passwords or access tokens with unauthorized persons

3. Fair Use Limits

Each plan has defined usage limits (entries, users, companies, MCP calls). Intentionally exceeding or attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of this policy.

4. Responsible Security Disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to: info@jabrhq.com. Do not exploit the vulnerability or disclose it publicly before contacting us. We appreciate researchers who disclose responsibly and commit to responding within 48 hours.

5. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Immediate account suspension or termination without refund
• Reporting to relevant regulatory and security authorities where required
• Claims for actual damages incurred
