This policy explains how we use cookies and local storage on the Jabr platform.

1. Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled:

• __session: Maintains login state (expires after one hour and auto-renews)
• NEXT_LOCALE: Saves language preference (Arabic or English)

2. Local Storage (localStorage and sessionStorage)

We use local storage to save interface preferences and session state only:

• jabr-theme: Visual theme (dark / light / minimal / ocean)
• jabr-layout-scale: UI scale factor (80-120%)
• jabr-company-id-*: Active company identifier per user
• jabr-plan-*: Cached subscription plan tier (refreshed from server)
• jabr-hijri-dates: Hijri date preference
• jabr-english-numbers: Numeral style preference
• jabr-chart-animations: Animation preference
• jabr-sidebar-pinned: Sidebar pin state
• jabr-auth-hint: Login state indicator for UI
• jabr-a2hs-dismissed: "Add to Home Screen" prompt dismissal
• jabr-feature-flags: Cached feature flag settings

This data is stored in your browser only and is not sent to our servers. It contains no financial information or personal data.

3. Local Database (IndexedDB)

Firebase uses IndexedDB in your browser for local caching and offline support. This is a local copy of your company data that stays on your device only and is not sent to any third party. Clearing it will reload data from the server on next connection.

4. Optional X Advertising Measurement

We do not use Google Analytics. We load the X Pixel to measure site visits and registrations, and may send normalized, hashed identifiers, limited attribution data, and paid-subscription outcomes through the X Conversions API. We do not send accounting data or invoice contents.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting the __session cookie will log you out. Clearing local storage will reset visual preferences to defaults.
